The sun leaves goodnight kisses like a mother does to her child. The breeze dances across the water’s surface and the waves perform an endless routine that they’ve been practicing for quite a while now.
It reminded me how beautiful and united we can be, not only Americans but as a human race when it comes to being emotionally connected to similar struggles.
This year’s collection of Oscar-nominated short films is a great reminder of what the power of film can truly hold, even in its shortest format.
