“Step Up: High Water” does a great job executing the dance and song performances that are put on throughout the series by the characters, but it does not excuse the fact that the acting is atrocious.
“The names you give me are based off of your stereotype of what you think I should be. You can’t figure out what I am. You tar and feather me, Black tar White feathers.”
Once something is put out on the internet, it is there forever. It will never go away, and people will continue to bring up how foolish you used to be.
It is well-known that women are paid less than men, but it is important to know that income inequality between Black women and white men is even greater than publicly understood.
To that Black Girl. You are not ugly, you are just broke. Those celebrities wouldn’t be nothing without those clothes, makeup, and implants. Your future husband is going to love you, girl.
