through some perfect alignment in the stars of the universe, I found myself sitting last Tuesday night, May 22, under the lights of Atlanta’s Fox Theatre seeing the Broadway production of “Hamilton,” a musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda with a racially diverse cast that translates the story of America’s conception into rap.
James Taylor Odom, the young actor who played all eight of the D’Ysquith men and women who met their unfortunate end, did an incredible job of mastering each and every role.
There is no day but today. We need to stop cursing past gun restrictions that could have prevented this tragedy. We need to act today. We need to speak out against the sale of automatic rifles today. We need to make our schools safe again today.
