Being inside the newsroom at CNN made me realize journalism is what I was born for. CNN’s commitment to producing reliable and factual content is a true motivation, and I can’t wait to work there.
This week, I participated in a job shadow to experience what it’s really like to be a (drum roll) graphic designer!
The week of my job shadow was National Crime Victims Rights Week. I was moved by the survivors’ stories. Three words that are important: strength, resilience and justice.
I’ve always been a fan of how Casey Neistat styles his older videos, similar to Wes Anderson’s aesthetically clean introductions. So, I decided to challenge myself by attempting to replicate the style on my shadow day article. With over forty props, I managed to record the footage in the first take. So without further ado, enjoy the video article, “Mentors.”
