It’s been a long time and we shouldn’t have left you without a dope VOXCast to listen to.

The highly-anticipated second episode of the VOXCast is finally here and the teens are picking up right where they left off. This time the topic is XXXtentacion’s controversial “Look At Me/Riot” music video. As our teen staffer and audio editor Mack Walker pointed out in his critique, the video was meant to “click bait” viewers into listening to a politically-charged song and video where X’s addresses racism and White supremacy.

However, not all of the teens are buying it as some of them think that X comes off as “fake woke” and basic since he has violent reputation and has even been accused of teen domestic violence.

This episode features some new and familiar voices. Teen staffers Alia Holt, Aryana Gupta, Carlos Guzman and Chasity Starks all make their VOXCast debuts. Kenneth Franklin, Khalil Shipman and Mack all make their returns from VOXCast episode one.

Special thanks to our 2017 Lindsey Knox Volunteer Superhero Award winner Molly Samuel for opening the doors to WABE 90.1 FM for the teens to record and express themselves. Check out the new heat below.
