One thing that “Eighth Grade” accomplishes is capturing the experience of eighth grade (at least my experience). In the movie, eighth grade is total hell for Kayla, and that’s exactly how it was for me.
Once something is put out on the internet, it is there forever. It will never go away, and people will continue to bring up how foolish you used to be.
Even though the Paul brothers are popular social media figures, there can still be discussions where people can evaluate their actions and how it can be hurtful and leave a bad impression towards their audience, which includes younger teenagers.
